On November 27, 2018, little baby Shane was born. Shortly thereafter it was discovered that he was suffering from an illness called Severe Combined Immune Deficiency, or SCID, which essentially means that he was born without an immune system. The only cure for SCID is a Bone-Marrow transplant, but we knew immediately that we wanted to help in any way possible!
To help raise funds for Shane’s family in this time of need, Fit Factory began planning our “A Night For Baby Shane” event. This event featured over 20 donation-based group fitness classes with dedicated instructors that were kind enough to donate their time.
When we got the results in, we could not have been happier! With the help of our Fit Fam we were able to raise a total of $1,745 that night, in addition to all of the generous online donations! Below is the break down of how much you were able to help us raise per club!
• Foxboro - $455
• Braintree - $420
• Kingston - $560
• N. Attleboro $310
We want to thank every single one of you who took part in this event - it was a huge success!
