I was always a runner, but my knees hadn’t been treating me so well after putting on a few love and work pounds since 2016. I needed a next level workout program to get back in shape and feel energized. A friend had been a member for years and it was apparent that the program had been a success for them.
Of course, I was a bit intimidated going into the program, starting from scratch in weight training and seeing how fit all of the athletes were. What I soon discovered was an incredibly supportive community of athletes and coaches, who would all become friends. While there exists a healthy level of competition among athletes of all performance levels, the CrossFit Factory community is truly a place of encouragement where you can grow at your own pace.
At 40, I’m now in the best shape of my life, and I have no intention of going back. The strength training and working with coaches on nutrition has also helped improve my legs and I’m running better than I ever have. I'm grateful for the energy and enthusiasm of the coaches and athletes in the CrossFit Factory community for getting me to today.
