Ready to sculpt long, lean limbs and tone hard-to-target muscles in your arms, core, and legs?
Fit Factory Barre is a challenging workout that incorporates a combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga, and a variety of dance forms. You’ll use the barre as a balance assist as you gracefully bend, balance, and pulse your way through the workout...and you’ll be feeling the burn in no time.
While traditional exercise forms use larger, compound movements to build muscle, barre-based workouts focus on exercises that tone your muscles with repetitive, small, incremental movements. These “pulses” can bring a new level of awareness to the body that you don’t get in regular strength workouts. Bonus: barre workouts are low-impact, so you don’t need to worry about wear and tear on your joints.
Partway through the class, we’ll up the intensity with light handheld weights and targeted core work on floor mats. Then, we’ll finish the class with focused stretching to lengthen your muscles and increase flexibility.
If you don’t consider yourself a dancer, don’t worry—no previous dance experience required! Fit Factory Barre class doesn’t involve any crazy leaps or twirls, and barre-style workouts are a great option for people of all ages and fitness levels.
